Learning made easy with Dot.
4-year project in Kenya and India
Since 2015, Dot has partnered with KOICA to distribute 300 low-cost Braille devices to 4 schools in northeastern Kenya and 9 schools in the Maharashtra region of India. We aimed to introduce Braille to visually impaired students in Kenya and India through affordable Braille assistive technology, enlightening them to a world of more books and greater opportunities.
Social Impact, dot by Dot
"What does a cloud look like ?"
The eyes of snow, the mane of a lion, the ears of a rabbit, a 2D graph, a map of the neighborhood...
"How can we convey all of this through touch?"
Dot's journey begins now.
